Work with me. Helpful things to know.

It’s key that you choose the right people to work with you as you support yourself and your health. I’m happy that you’re curious about the services I offer and I’d like to give you more insight into the way I work. Here are answers to the questions most often asked by potential clients. If there’s more you’d like to know please message or call.

What does a successful outcome mean to you?

My greatest joy is to see you thrive in mind, body, and spirit. I would like you to experience a substantial reduction of symptoms. I intend for you to leave my care with knowledge and skills that support the maintenance of your health and vitality. Whilst also having a greater understanding of your journey so that you may create meaning from your experiences.

What qualifications do you have?

I have a BSc in Nutritional Medicine (2010) and a postgrad qualification from the Institute For Functional Medicine (AFMCP, 2017). I’m also a DNA Life Practitioner (2016). In 2019 I finished 2 years of training to become an Accredited Priestess (2018).

I began my private practice 10 years ago, supporting clients with Nutritional Therapy, and Functional and Lifestyle Medicine. In 2019 I introduced Archetypal Exploration to my work alongside Sacred Ceremony.

I gained a wealth of experience and knowledge during my 20’s and 30’s because I had endometriosis, a debilitating chronic condition. I understand the complexity of disease and the courage it takes to heal.

Do you often work with people with chronic ill heatlh?

Yes, I do. However, if you also feel that you’re not as healthy as you used to be, that your vitality is declining or that you have unrelated symptoms that aren’t making you feel as well as you’d like then Nutritional and Lifestyle medicine can work wonders for you.

How much do you charge?

All consultations are pro-rata. £80 per hour. I also offer a 3-month package for £470 which gives you a 10% discount on the pro-rata price.

I recommend supplements and testing only when needed and these are an additional cost. Both can be useful, although not necessary for successful healing.

Where are the sessions held?

If you’d like to meet in person, you can book a session at my office in Tattenhall, Cheshire. It’s a beautifully calm space.

We can also meet online, allowing you to stay in the comfort of your own home. I ask that, for the duration of the consultation, you create a quiet, private space for you to focus on yourself.

How long does a consultation last?

Your first session will be 90 minutes long. Follow-up consultations last 60 to 90 minutes.

How often will I see you?

We’ll arrange a follow-up consultation 1 to 2 weeks after the first consultation. And then leaving 2 to 4 weeks thereafter.

How long will I need to work with you?

It may be a 3-month journey with 6 sessions or you may decide to work with me for longer. For instance, you could begin by using nutritional and meditative practices to reduce pain, then take a break before you come back to focus on the emotional impact of ill health using archetypal exploration.

The healing journey is guided by you. My wish is to see you healthy and my job is to support you in a considered and effective manner.

Do I send information before the appointment?

After you make contact, I’ll email a Functional Medicine questionnaire for you to fill in. It gives me some background information about the symptoms you experience, the medication you’re taking, and any previous treatments you’ve undergone.

What happens in a session?

First, you tell me about yourself and your journey so far. I’ll ask you about what it is you wish to achieve and what a successful outcome would be for you.

We then explore the different routes to healing. We incorporate any beneficial habits that you already have as a foundation for your wellbeing.

During the consultation, we create a Wellbeing Matrix and plan out your roadmap of healing. I recommend resources for diet, supplements, movement, meditation, self-inquiry, self-love and connection with Mother Nature.

The Matrix is a bespoke mixture of Nutritional Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Archetypal Exploration. Each one will complement any conventional treatment plan you have with your GP or Consultant.

How do you track my progress?

Periodically I ask you to fill in the Functional Medicine Questionnaire. A unique tool that will illustrate your progress. It will also highlight any areas that need further attention.

If my experience and knowledge are not suitable I will say so. I also ask that you’re respectful and committed to your healing.
